Moreover, we are including a mentorship\nstructured where alumni are brought back to motivate, guide and encourage the\nnew participants. This truly reflects the sustainability of this concept and\nhow it could alleviate poverty at the core of it, where we see those who were\nhelped are helping others now. Thirdly, we are officially introducing the mini\nEntrepreneurship Program, Program Keushawanan (PK) mini for children 7-12 years\nolds. This idea was initiated last year where parents found it hard to take\ncare of their children and at the same time attend our entrepreneurship classes.\nHence, Taylor\u2019s Community implemented PK mini to address this issue, where programs\nfor children are ran concurrently with the classes for the adults. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/csr.taylorsedu.my\/taylorscommunity\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4680-1024x768.jpg?resize=316%2C237&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5314\" width=\"316\" height=\"237\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, we interviewed 74 new potential\nentrepreneurs for our program, from the PPR communities and the disabled\npeople. Tomorrow, we will be recruiting refugees too. Out of all our\ninterviewees, 100% of them indicated that they are excited and will be fully\ncommitted to this program. Throughout our briefing session, their active\nparticipation in asking questions and playing ice-breaking games reflected\ntheir enthusiasm and seriousness towards the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/csr.taylorsedu.my\/taylorscommunity\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4769-1024x768.jpg?resize=293%2C219&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5281\" width=\"293\" height=\"219\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">Another highlight would definitely regard\nour volunteers; we were very encouraged by the sharing of their experiences and\nhow they really appreciated the opportunity to serve the community and engaging\nthemselves with the children. All of them gave positive feedback and want to\nhelp out in this program again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, it was a bright start of PK2019!
