It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.\u201d\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith this, the interns of Taylor\u2019s Community decided to plan a Christmas Donation Drive with Pertubuhan Pusat Kebajikan Destiny, Klang to execute their passion project. This project encourages the staff and students of Taylor\u2019s Education Group to donate any necessary items such as toys, stationeries, food, books and more to the refugee children.\n

\"\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nThis project was also aimed at enlightening the festival celebration amongst the refugee children aged between 2 to 6 years old. The outcome was overwhelming as we received many donated item from the staff, students as well as the friends of our team members.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe team was welcomed by the teachers and also a few AIESEC Global Volunteers who were staying in Destiny. Taylor’s Community’s star volunteer, Peter Cham, kick-started the evening with a simple aerobic exercise. This woke the children up after a long day schooling in Destiny. However, what truly woke the children up was probably “A Christmas Carol”, a 15-minutes cartoon played for them. The message of the cartoon was to encourage the children to understand the meaning of giving and sharing.\n

\"\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nUndoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was when the presents were handed over to the children. Ms Irene J.Dawson, Founder of Destiny, stated that the children were holding the gifts as if it was their life. She also showed the team pictures the children’s parents took of them sleeping with their presents at home.\n\n\n\n\n
