Program Keusahawanan PRUKasih Taylor’s 2022 is moving towards the moment that we have all been waiting for!
Last Saturday, we had Mock Pitching day today for 31 participants who have already impressed us and the 18 volunteering judges from PRUKasih and 4 volunteers from our very own Taylor’s Community Body! We would like to thank all the volunteers from our own Taylor’s University students and lecturers & volunteers from PRUKasih Without them we would not have been able to reach thus far in this journey. They are an invaluable part of our programs!
Today we conducted our second training of the year, this time, for our lecturers in Taylor’s University School of Engineering. This full-day workshop, which was led by our amazing May Wong, focuses on Coaching Tools for Effective Engagement.
The session was jam packed with impactful team activities that helped to emphasize every module that was introduced today. Our incredible participants were energetic and interactive throughout the day which made the workshop truly the success that it was!
We believe that coaching is a skill that everyone can benefit from, regardless of their profession. It’s inspiring and heartwarming that our lecturers in Taylor’s are ready to go the extra mile for their students and embrace coaching skills as a necessity. That said, a huge THANK YOU to the School of Engineering for having their lecturers be our participants! Hopefully more to come in the near future!
HRDF Training session on Effective Volunteering Training was one of new milestone for Taylor’s Community. The training that have conducted for our Taylor’s internal department that give us a chance to explore our role as HRDF certified trainers.
This 2 days program gave us a chance to dive deeper into effective volunteering for an employee and creating meaningful impacts. Our session more meaningful to the learning where we have 18 students from MSRI (Malaysian Social Research Institute) participated in an experiential workshop run by Taylor’s Community trainees.
We are huge thankful for having great support both from Taylor’s internal team as well as beneficiaries in achieving a new milestone.
Science and English Fun Day program focused to cherish the children that not only educate but entertains them as well. In Taylor’s Community, we believe the regular curriculum in Malaysia tends to lean heavily on textbook learning and does not provide emphasis on making learning fun for students.
The children learned the basics of scientific principles in our science module based on quick, simple and fun experiments that can be done at home.
The children also learned about poetry via watching videos that utilized creative narratives and writing styles in our English Module.
Let’s take a look at testimony from the participants of our program.
